Event Description
Join us for a special Paint & Sip afternoon for moms and daughters on April 26 from 2–4pm! Guided by artist Melissa Lawson of Mindful Masterpieces with Melissa, families will enjoy a fun and relaxing painting session while creating a beautiful artwork together.
As we paint, Melissa will gently weave in an age-appropriate conversation about safe body boundaries, respect, and personal safety. As a domestic violence survivor herself, Melissa is passionate about helping children think about these important topics in a thoughtful, empowering, and supportive way.
This event is designed to spark connection, creativity, and meaningful conversation between moms and daughters in a comfortable and positive environment. The workshop is suitable for children in 4th grade and older. All painting supplies will be provided—just come ready to create, learn, and enjoy time together.
Each attendee (both mothers and daughters) must have their own ticket.
